Welcome to the WSU At What Cost?
The purpose of this site:
The purpose of this site is to provide a place where all students at Washington State University can find information regarding unionization of academic student employees. Although this site does not claim to be objective the authors do seek to present a balanced view. Information is added to the site frequently so check back often for more information.
At this site you may also download flyers to post in area(s) you may have access to where academic employees may congregate. Please do not remove or poster over other flyers regardless of how you may feel about the information being presented individually.
At present, much of the information contained on this site has been adapted and borrowed from the Cornell University At What Cost? website http://www.atwhatcost.org and Brown University web site. You e-mail us at: atwhatcost@live.com or join our facebook group WSU At What Cost? Curious about what students are saying? Want to voice your situation? Visit http://gradstudents-wsu.com/.
Who We Are:
At What Cost? is a group of Washington State University graduate students who are united in opposition to the current proposal of unionization under the UAW.
Our Mission:
We intend to educate graduate students about issues surrounding current unionization efforts, and encourage those in the bargaining unit to vote against the current unionization proposition.
Our Position:
Based on extensive data gathered and researched by our members, we have concluded that the current unionization proposition is not in the best interests of graduate students at WSU.
